Hi there, I’m Elizabeth Mora

I am the owner of Mora Woodwind Studio, established in 2017. Teaching is my passion and music is my dedication.

Bio

A native of North Mexico, Elizabeth Mora holds a bachelor's in All-Level Music Studies-Instrumental Concentration from Texas State University-San Marcos (2017) and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU/ 2019). During her time in Texas State University Mora performed and held leadership positions in the Wind Ensemble, Clarinet Choir, Symphony Orchestra, Bobcat Marching Band, and various chamber groups. Mora has performed in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) and College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) conferences.

 

​​Recently, Mora performed with various music ensembles from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) including the Jazz Band, and Concert Band. Over the past couple of years, participation in these ensembles has led to playing in conferences, cruises, and traditional venues. She served as an adjunct professor for the music department at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) from 2018-2020. 


In 2017, Mora established Mora Woodwind Studio. For more than three years, Mora has been serving students in a variety of regions in the state of Texas. She is currently an entrepreneur and online private lesson teacher (flute, clarinet, and saxophone) in the state of Texas. Elizabeth maintains a private lesson studio of diverse age groups and musical abilities. She strives to create a positive impact on the next generation and a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
